1. Clean Your Walls

Cleaning the walls of the house is a crucial part of your deep-cleaning routine. One of the easiest ways to clean walls is – baking soda. All you have to do is make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply this paste to areas affected by crayons, hand-prints, and other stains. Now, rub this mixture softly around the targeted areas with a cloth. Once done, wipe away the paste with a paper towel or dry cloth. Reapply as required.

2. Clean Your Shower Head

In areas with hard water, a clogged shower is quite common house issue among people. If you belong to such an area, you might be facing this problem more frequently. And it is nearly impossible to ignore getting mineral and limescale buildup on the shower head over time. Fortunately, baking soda can take care of it overnight.

First of all, put the showerhead into a ziplock bag and pour in a small amount of vinegar. Seal the packet and let it sit all night long. Remove the showerhead next morning and spread some baking soda on it. Then, scrub the shower head with a toothbrush and rinse it under clean water.

4. Use it for Your Laundry

A mixture of baking soda and vinegar makes a valuable addition to your laundry routine. Sprinkle around 3 to 4 spoons of baking soda over your clothes before beginning the washing process. It will help soften hard water and brighten colors. Then, include a small amount of vinegar to the rinse procedure to remove odors and soften the fabric.
